Organized by Tibetan Association of Northern California Saturday, August 25, 2012 Registration & Breakfast Opening ceremony: Tibetan National Anthem followed by observing a moment of silence. Welcome speech by TANC President and speeches by our guest speakers. BREAK Participant Introduction (1 minute each) and school introduction and experience by the 7 representatives. Tenzin N. Nangsel (30 min): How could we teach alphabets in a fun and interesting way, and why Uchen should be introduce early. Tsetan Chonjore la (30 min): What are the best practices and methodologies of teaching Tibetan language. Followed by Q&A and Discussion. LUNCH BREAK Prof. Tsering Wangchuk (30 Min): How to integrate the values of Tibetan Buddhist culture in our school curriculum.
